What does Yellow Submarine, The Gumball Rally and What Lies Beneath have to do with team Mellow Tubmarine? “We were inspired by the films,” team member Rod Shelton admits. This group of web agency producers and developers plan to race an actual bathtub with wheels. “What better way to spend a summer than building a homemade car and hurtling a dear friend down a hill at breakneck speed?” conjures Shelton.

The crew has spent many a night together at the agency delivering web projects on deadline, “yet we can’t help visualizing ourselves as a group of 30’s era ragamuffins cobbling together some rickety deathtrap in an old black and white comedy.” Now that sounds more fun than work.
