This team has certainly been around the track a few times before. No, we’re not talking about their dating histories…or their soapbox racing histories, for that matter. More like the track you would run the 100M dash on – laced up in your best racing shoes. Meet the brainchild of team Anytime Fitness: a running shoe…on wheels!

The teammates all work together at Anytime Fitness sports club and are united by both talent (as Nishi explains, “We got braun, brains, spirit, athleticism, creativity and attitude!”) and a common inspiration: a need for speed. While they haven’t built any soapboxes before, the team is convinced that their car’s combination of a lexan shell exterior and metal frame interior is a winner. And not only will they be speedy, but they have style. Come race day, expect a grand entrance from their driver, Captain Running Man, riding in on the broad shoulders of the personal trainers. Nishi says he knows they will win over the crowd with “a great driver, a good looking, muscular and fit crew, and an incredibly fast car.” Here’s hoping they can put their money where their muscles are.
