Vessel is a luxury boutique lounge located on Campton Place, in the heart of San Francisco’s Union Square district. Designed to handle a wide range of entertainment needs, from happy hours to corporate events, the venue offers gourmet hors d’oeuvres, expertly mixed drinks, DJs, and live entertainment – everything to make customers happy. And on October 18, a group of Vessel bartenders will take the good times offsite and downhill by racing a … well, a Vessel at the Red Bull Soapbox Race.

Because Halloween comes right on the heels of the contest, team captain David Brinkley and his crew (Brent “Big Hair” Adair, Johnny “Swing” Boulland, Robin Parsons, Scott Parsons, and Dane Zuccaro) decided to create an entry that’s perfect for the season. With a skeleton at the helm, their Vessel looks more like it’s ready to cross the River Styx than traverse Dolores Street. “We are crazy,” says David, as he looks up from the spooky craft that’s taking shape in his garage. “But we know how to show people a good time. I hope everybody comes out to see us!”
