The folks on Team Go Green have eclectic interests, to say the least. Captain and driver Rob Capitulik works as a mason but devotes his free time to designing and programming MMORPGs. Kenny and Michele met during their stints in the Army and now breed American Bullmastiffs. “Dale,” Rob says, “is an amazing high-tech CSI equipment technician who loves laser tag.” That leaves Meat, who needs no introduction to listeners of WEBN radio. The four friends now have another interest to add to their list: building a racer inspired by WEBN’s frog mascot.

Expect the Mount Adams atmosphere to get just a tad crazier when Team Go Green take the stage. According to Rob, “the crew will be in straightjackets with Velcro sleeves that easily pop off when it’s time to push the car. Maybe they’ll even have some Alka-Seltzer tablets in their mouths for some truly insane foaming action.” The madness doesn’t end there; hoping to capture the People’s Choice Award, Team Go Green have plans that aren’t just “ha-ha-funny” crazy, but kind of, you know, insane. “We do have some awesome ideas for the car to be able to pull a wheelie or even ride on two side-wheels,” Rob says.
